The center of a black hole is considered a singularity - where all physical theory breaks down. On one's journey into a black hole all the bits break up and are considered multiple histories. Essentially I just love the idea that multiple histories happen simultaneously and overlap and all cascade into one infinite point that no one actually can explain. I carried a camera and index cards with me everywhere, picked up all materials on black hole theory, watched films with multiple narratives and amassed notebooks filled with my half-baked ideas for a momentous project... my own journey into a singularity. But I haven't hit the bottom of the black hole yet, all the pieces are still separate and overlapping and gaining momentum- so what I have are the photographs you see here - hopefully some writing will be up soon as well as some of the design/layout I have done. Sometimes I call it attempting singularity- but the truth is once you cross the horizon of the black hole you can't get out. This site is a working portfolio for my photography and book work.
